Pierce Information Technology CEO Message
A quarter of a century in the professional staffing industry has taught me some essential lessons. For starters, no matter how advanced recruiting software systems become, they’ll never take the place of good, old-fashioned human interaction. People aren’t commodities – they are the lifeblood of every business. If an organization orders people like they do their pencils, they are mishandling their most vital resource.
At Pierce, we’ve been successful because of our dedication to working personally with our clients in order to gain the intimate knowledge and insight it takes to accurately pinpoint the skills, experience and background required for each contract or direct-hire opening. Having direct interaction with hiring managers enables us to uncover the technical skills, environmental factors and ‘intangibles’ that aren’t always captured in a position description. This ensures Pierce delivers precisely-matched candidates for even the most complex requirements.
A second valuable lesson I learned in the business: determine what you do best and stick to it. Trying to offer “all things to all clients” would diminish our ability to recruit and deliver the best staffing talent. In fact, we attribute our stellar reputation to Pierce’s unwavering focus on sourcing and delivering the best talent for our clients while placing contractors in positions where they will flourish.
Finally and most important, there’s no substitute for a first-class staff. Pierce is extremely fortunate to have a dynamic team of dedicated professionals driven to quickly and effectively meet client and contractor expectations. We are responsive, focused and energetic individuals who view our clients and consultants as partners and are committed to their success.
All of us at Pierce look forward to providing our ever-growing network of clients and contractors with unsurpassed service. It’s what we do best.
